Have Art, Will Travel

marga_ditch

Art collector and promoter Marga Ditsch, who showed the work of six artists of international reputation at the Loulé fair, travels from her Frankfurt home in Germany to many parts of Europe and the Middle east marketing the painters and sculptors that belong to her stable of 12 artists.

And she does it all by transporting the work herself in a motor caravan which she drives to fairs as far afield as Dubai.
Her solo journey to the Algarve with a pile of paintings and sculptures on board took just over two days.

She said: “I think the fair had a very good mixture of art which is important and I think Rolf Osang and his team have done a great job.”

Some of the work which Marga brought to the Algarve has been retained for exhibition in Arte Algarve’s two galleries in Monchique and Loulé.
During the three day Loulé fair she showed work by Casar W Radetzky, Benno Werth, Hans-Joachim Pietrula, Norbert Schmitt and Martin Gutmann of Germany and Luciano Pelizzari of Italy.
